Job Description:
Safe At Home Service Facilitation, LLC is seeking a mature, dependable, compassionate, and responsible Personal Care Attendant (PCA) to provide in-home assistance and companionship to an elderly individual.
The ideal candidate will have some experience working with elderly individuals, demonstrate patience and professionalism, and take pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide companionship and supportive care to an elderly individual.
- Perform light housekeeping, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and general tidying.
- Prepare meals and assist with meal planning as needed.
- Wash, dry, fold, and put away laundry.
- Change bed linens and maintain a clean living environment.
- Assist with organizing and maintaining household items.
- Provide assistance with daily routines and personal care as needed.
- Observe and report any changes in the client's condition or needs.
- Promote the client's comfort, independence, dignity, and safety.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with elderly individuals preferred.
- Seeking a mature, responsible individual with good judgment and a strong work ethic.
- Must be reliable, punctual, patient, and compassionate.
- Ability to independently perform light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be comfortable working in a private home setting.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect the client's privacy.
- Must successfully complete required employment screening and onboarding.
Work Schedule:
Tuesday:
- 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM OR 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Thursday:
- 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM OR 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday:
- 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM OR 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Total Scheduled Hours: Approximately 36 hours per week.
Applicants must be available to work weekends. Shift start times may vary based on the client's needs.
